Salman Khan Plants Saplings As He Accepts Green India Challenge; Fan Requests, ‘Please Do Something For Stray Animals Dying Of Hunger’
Bollywood’s Sultan Salman Khan is not just known for his outstanding onscreen performances but is also adored for his kind nature. He always takes part in social activities and environmental initiatives. Recently, Khan participated in the Green India Challenge 5.0 plantation drive in Hyderabad and planted a sapling at Ramoji Film City. The actor joined Telangana Rashtra Samithi (TRS) Rajya Sabha MP and Green India founder J Santosh Kumar in the drive. 

Addressing the media, the Dabangg actor requested everyone to plant saplings in their areas and to take adequate care of the saplings until they grow big. Salman also posted a photo of him planting a sapling on his Twitter handle and wrote, “I have accepted #GreenindiaChallenge from @MPsantoshtrs garu and I have planted saplings at Ramoji Film City . Notably, fans took to the comments section of the post to applaud the actor and said ‘they love him.’ One netizen wrote, “Inspirational to millions for a reason!.” Interestingly, one fan requested Salman to do something for stray animals who are dying of hunger. The comment read, “Mr. Khan.. If you really want to do something, then pls do something for stray animals.. They are dying of hunger for no reason.. Who knows  the common man after seeing big people like you? They also give food to them.”

Meanwhile, the 56-year-old actor is currently in Hyderabad for the shoot of his upcoming film ‘Kabhi Eid Kabhi Diwali.’ Salman is also gearing up for the release of his next Tiger 3 with Katrina Kaif. Besides this, he will be seen doing a special cameo in Shah Rukh Khan’s comeback film ‘Pathaan.’ Reportedly, he will also play a special cameo in his friend and actor Riteish Deshmukh's directorial debut 'Ved'.
